Basil Pesto Bread Rounds
1 loaf French Baguette
1/3 cup Santa Barbara Original Basil Pesto Parmesan Cheese & Fresh Basil Leaves
Place oven on broiler setting. Slice the bread and place in a single layer on a baking sheet. Broil for 5 minutes, or until lightly toasted on top side. Remove tray from the oven and turn bread slices over. Set the oven to 350 degrees.
Spread pesto over the untoasted side of the bread. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, then set the oven to broil until the bread slices begin to bubble. Let cool before eating. Garnish if desired with parmesan cheese and basil leaves.
